Sustainability

Bridal Barn is a secluded off grid venue. Saved from dereliction, it was largely renovated using reclaimed and natural materials, protecting its rustic charm for generations to come. Restorations throughout the site were done with the help of local craftsmen who take enormous pride in their work.

We are committed to sourcing sustainable solutions on site to protect our treasured woodland and the surrounding area.

We are proud to support British business. Items are sourced within the UK wherever possible - for example, our Tipi was made by The Tipi Company in Manchester.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Reduce….

We ask our couples and their chosen suppliers to use paper straws and avoid the use of pointless plastics. Synthetic confetti is not permitted. Instead, beautiful natural confetti provided by a local supplier ensures the picture-perfect photo.

Reuse….

The beautiful Bridal Lounge has previously travelled the world as a shipping container. It now offers the perfect sanctuary for preparations before saying “I do”.

The Shepherd’s Hut began life as a chassis on an old farm trailer. Purchased for £90, Ben and his helpful carpenter built the charming, cosy Shepherd’s Hut which is a popular honeymoon ‘suite’ for the happy couple.

We are constantly looking for other ways to reuse materials. Our rustic courtyard sofas are repurposed pallets and match the venue perfectly.

Recycle….

Sustainably created pathways from wood bark protect the natural feel of the venue.
